Susan retired from a sales leadership position at AT&T in 2010 and then earned her bachelor's degree in accounting with a minor in finance at the University of Houston- Downtown (UHD). After Graduation from UHD, she was hired by the Comptroller of Public Accounts of the State of Texas for the Auditor position in the Sales Tax division.

She has prepared personal and business federal tax returns for over 10 years, initially gained experience working for local CPA firms and has since established her own client base. She provides extensive bookkeeping, payroll and tax support for her clients.

Susan opened Caraway Tax Services in 2015 as an entrepreneur, preparing taxes, payroll and professional bookkeeping services. Her practice focusues on aiding small and entrepreneurial businesses in their development and growth stages.

A 5th generation native Houstonian, Susan lives in Bellaire, TX with her husband Donnie. She is a parishioner at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, and a member of the AICPA, TXCPA and TX-CPA Houston.
